Universal Design and Age-Friendly Design

More and more we are becoming aware of the need for more usable design with the aging demographic that is rising around the globe. DSL Design Consulting has extensive experience in the areas of univeral design and age-friendly design. Our understanding of human functioning and the design of the built environment combined with current research creates designs from small to large scale that are more usable by all people. We are very aware of ADA requirements and Canadian Codes and Standards requirements. We also provide workshops on univesal design, age-friendly design concepts and on accessiblity and codes requirements. DSL Design Consulting also has extensive experience with accessible tourism and the needs of the hospitality industry regarding age-friendly and universal design needs.
